La Isla, Now Open! – Redmond Restaurant Electrical

The Exact Electric team had the awesome opportunity to help Washington State’s first Puerto Rican cuisine restaurant open its second location in Redmond Towncenter. Our partner in creating this great location was Riccon Construction. A special thanks to their team and the good work they do!

It is always a pleasure to work with others who have the same dedication to quality and collaboration. And like many projects we get to work on, the timeline from start to finish was tight. Working with Riccon and ensuring our team was flexible allowed us to meet the owner’s opening date deadline.

The existing retail space had to be gutted in order to transform the space into a restaurant. Our team provided a power upgrade to the HVAC equipment as well as installed a Type 1 hood and wired all the dishwashers, stove/oven, and walk-in cooler. We also installed all the emergency lighting including exit signs.

Outdoor Lighting and Fun

The lively ambiance includes a full-service bar as well as an outdoor patio. We installed all the outdoor heaters and lighting for the patio as well as all the lighting inside the restaurant. To ensure cost and energy savings LED lighting was used throughout.

Our team was also responsible for ensuring all Washington state energy codes were met. We met with the inspectors to make sure they got a thorough tour of the job site and that all their questions were answered. And most importantly that the space was up to code.

You can visit La Isla in Redmond Towncenter or in Ballard – either way we know you will have a great time, enjoying wonderful Caribbean food and drinks!
